Eddy Vermeulen, born in Kuurne in 1946. He started in 1970 in the weekly Humo for which he signed memorable covers. It will soon be published in the European press, as well as in the prestigious New Yorker and in the review Raw edited by Art Spiegelman. He is one of the main representatives of the clear line. Its highly stylized graphics, perfumed with art deco and atom style, draw on the architecture, furniture and cars of the forties & fifties. In recent years, the rock style that marked its beginnings has increasingly come close to pure poetry.
