Maarten Arijs

Obtained a master’s degree in illustration as part of the visual Art studies at the Sint- Lucas Academy of Arts in Ghent. Since 2014 active as an illustrator. He illustrated for ‘De Morgen’ newspaper and works as a designer for several companies. Maarten loves working with traditional materials such as gouache, watercolors and crayons. His drawings are described as surrealistic, detailed, funny and imaginative.
